Nothing But the Blood

Without the Shedding of blood there is no forgiveness
Hebrews 9:22

As we enter Holy Week, I pray you will take time to reflect on what Jesus did for you and me. As you reflect on what Jesus did and what He continues to do as He works.

In the hymn Nothing But The Blood, Robert Lowry asks, “What can wash away my sin?” and the response given is, “Nothing but the blood of Jesus.”  Today, may you be quick to confess your sin to Jesus and give praise to Him for forgiveness.

As you move forward, I pray that, through the work of the Holy Spirit, you also find the willingness to forgive yourself and others where needed.

If you're not in a relationship with Jesus today, I invite you to pray the prayer below. If you do have a relationship with Jesus, I encourage you to stay engaged in ongoing prayer, discipleship, and evangelism.

The Sinner's Prayer

"Heavenly Father, I have sinned against you. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give you my life to do with as you wish.  I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. This I ask in Jesus' name. Amen"
